Do what you love, and do it a lot.

Leadership and The Outdoors

Sometimes getting outside is enough. Other times, it becomes something so much more.

Our outdoor experiences can be as simple as exploring a new place, trying a new skill, or stepping a little outside your comfort zone.  Through rock climbing, hiking, camp craft, paddling, and time spent in nature, there is always an opportunity to learn along the way. Most importantly, there is an opportunity to have fun.

From there, the experience can grow deeper. The outdoors becomes a place to put life skills, wellness, and leadership into practice: building confidence, making decisions, communicating with others, and discovering what we’re capable of through practice and action.

    Grounded Leadership

Grounded Leadership is a nature and skill-based mentorship program that brings together outdoor skills, personal development, and leadership. Through time outside, hands-on learning, shared challenges, team building, and intentional mentorship, participants can strengthen their abilities while learning how to work with, support, and eventually lead others.

As experience grows, so does the opportunity to take greater ownership. Communication, decision-making, problem-solving, teamwork, and teaching become part of the process. Leadership doesn't have to mean being in charge. It can begin with learning to lead yourself, becoming secure in what you know, and gaining the confidence to share it with others.

Along the way, this becomes meaningful work that reaches beyond the skills themselves. Time in nature and shared experiences create space to practice self-awareness, manage emotions, strengthen relationships, communicate with intention, and better understand how we care for ourselves and those around us.

The goal is to grow from learning a skill into becoming more capable, responsible, and confident in how you use it, both for yourself and alongside others.
